Role Overview

The Fuel Services Analyst supports the management and optimization of clients' fuel supply chains by tracking procurement, monitoring inventories, analyzing fuel usage, and coordinating deliveries. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and vendors, generating reports, providing insights, and managing customer communications. As a Fuel Services Analyst, you will participate in an on-call rotation, requiring attention to detail, learning, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service and Support: Assist customers with service inquiries, troubleshooting, and issue resolution, escalating complex problems as necessary.
  • On-Call Rotation: Participate in an on-call rotation for nights and weekends, responding promptly to issue escalations and providing necessary managerial approvals.
  • Business Transactions and Reporting: Review and record business transactions for assigned accounts, ensuring adherence to customer requirements, and prepare routine written communications and reports following detailed instructions.
  • Data Management: Extract and input relevant data into spreadsheets or standard formats, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Technical Skills Development: Develop and maintain technical skills through training, coaching, and development planning activities.
  • Quality Standards: Follow mandatory procedures to ensure work meets required quality standards.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High School or General Education/Equivalency Diploma/GED certificate.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, with the ability to accurately record and analyze data.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Convenience Store or Retail Experience: Convenience store or retail experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with office software, including spreadsheets and reporting tools.
