About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Entry Clerk. As a key member of our Professional Services department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient entry of system orders into our business system. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure system orders are entered accurately into Edgewater's business system, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality control.
- Receive and process purchase orders, entering them into the system and printing sales order acknowledgments as needed.
- Create Project Workspaces in Jira and establish Functional Locations, attaching relevant documentation such as POs and quotes to the business system.
- Perform high-volume data entry of customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
- Provide backup support for EchoFlex data entry, assisting Project Assistants as necessary and performing other tasks as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred, although not required.
- 1-3 years of previous administrative experience, although not necessary – we will provide training and support to ensure your success.
- Experience working in a team environment, with the ability to interact with other employees and work collaboratively towards common goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Keyboarding skills, including both alpha and numeric input, with the ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in English, with the ability to read, speak, and understand the language fluently.
Preferred qualifications include experience with SAP, although this is not a requirement for the role.
