As a Part-Time Territory Sales Associate at Hershey's, you'll play a vital role in driving sales growth, ensuring flawless retail execution, and building strong relationships with our retail partners. Key Responsibilities: Delivering Exceptional Sales and Merchandising Performance
- Sell and Maintain Distribution: Ensure 100% distribution of all authorized Hershey items in your assigned territory, driving sales growth and expanding our retail presence.
- Retail Execution: Execute Headquarter Sales and Merchandising Plans with various retailers, ensuring flawless in-store execution and maximizing sales opportunities.
- Merchandising Objectives: Achieve merchandising objectives through effective use of Permanent Secondary Displays and other display vehicles, driving sales and enhancing brand visibility.
- Administrative Tasks: Report weekly activity, expenses, account changes, promotions, and administrative functions within your assigned territory, ensuring seamless communication and data-driven decision-making.
- Daily Activity Reports: Submit daily activity reports using tablet technology, providing real-time insights into your sales activities and territory performance.
- Territory Management: Manage your sales territory, adapting to changes in territory size, number of retailers, and location, while maintaining a high level of sales performance and customer satisfaction.
Essential Qualifications: The Skills and Competencies We Require
To succeed as a Part-Time Territory Sales Associate at Hershey's, you'll need:
- A valid US state-issued driver's license and a personal vehicle in sound operating condition.
- Personal auto insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000 per person, $100,000 per accident, and $100,000 property damage, permitting business use.
- The ability to drive long distances to make multiple sales calls daily, with a willingness to commute within the territory boundaries.
- Physical stamina to lift 10-40 lbs. regularly, bend, kneel, stoop down, and demonstrate manual dexterity frequently, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Proficiency in using tablet technology and daily access to wireless internet.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changes in territory coverage, with a commitment to working 20-25 hours per week.
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent, with a strong foundation in sales, merchandising, or a related field.
