Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of diverse learners, aligning with state and national science standards.

- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of all learners, including those with special needs.

Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university.
- A valid New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) Teaching License with Gifted Endorsements.
- Recommendations from degree-granting institutions and/or previous employers.
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office software applications and database applications.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- A Master's degree or National Board Certification in Education from an accredited college or university.
- Experience in teaching science to diverse student populations.
- Proficiency in bilingual education or English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction.
