Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of diverse learners, aligning with state and national science standards.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university.
• A valid New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) Teaching License with Gifted Endorsements.
• Recommendations from degree-granting institutions and/or previous employers.
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office software applications and database applications.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• A Master's degree or National Board Certification in Education from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in teaching science to diverse student populations.
• Proficiency in bilingual education or English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction.
