Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor students for safe work habits and provide guidance as needed to ensure a safe and healthy lab environment.
  • Check out tools and equipment to students, maintaining accurate records and ensuring that all necessary resources are available.
  • Answer technical questions from students, providing support and guidance to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Assist instructors with lab preparation, setup, and other tasks as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized lab environment, adhering to SVC's high standards of safety and quality.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience in the diesel industry, with a basic understanding of diesel-industry systems and tools.
  • The ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including mobility in a shop environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, instructors, and staff.

Preferred Qualifications
