Job Overview

As an Insurance Account Executive Senior I, you will be responsible for managing a designated book of business, including large and complex accounts, with a focus on service, retention, and growth. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers, identify new business opportunities, and direct marketing activities to drive revenue growth. This role requires a high degree of product knowledge, technical expertise, and independence, as well as excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop product line knowledge through ongoing education and training, representing Huntington Insurance as a product expert
  • Take ownership of client relationships, managing customer inquiries, and resolving problems in a timely and professional manner
  • Coordinate, direct, and oversee the marketing process, including negotiating coverage pricing and conditions to meet client needs
  • Deliver client proposals and policies, preparing and reviewing documents for quality assurance requirements
  • Prepare stewardship reports and participate in stewardship meetings and other customer meetings as needed
  • Utilize agency technology and software applications, including agency management systems, document management systems, and workflows

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • 7+ years of commercial property and casualty insurance selling and/or servicing experience

  • Insurance license and advanced insurance designation or equivalent
