Job Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day IT operations for the site in a timely, professional, and positive manner. Your expertise in installing and maintaining computer and computer-related systems, including hardware and software, will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the site's IT infrastructure. You will also be responsible for logging, tracking, and documenting incidents in the Help Desk System, escalating issues when necessary, and working closely with others in a small team environment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot computer and computer-related systems, including hardware and software
- Log, track, and document incidents in the Help Desk System, escalating issues when necessary
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve IT-related issues and improve overall IT operations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in IT, applying this knowledge to improve the site's IT infrastructure
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective resolution of IT-related issues
Requirements for Success
To succeed in this role, you will need a broad knowledge of computer-related systems, including micro/mini/mainframe OS, capability and capacity of various software products, and principles of data communications and telecommunications. You should also have knowledge of hardware and software installation, testing, and operation, as well as the ability to work closely with others in a small team environment.
