Information Systems - Multi Disciplined Individual System Admin

Responsibilities: Monitors and manages ACAS, HBSS, and D-GSA system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain the systems operating efficiency. Sets up administrator accounts, maintains system documentation, tunes system performance, installs system wide software and allocates mass storage space. Monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. Installs and maintains all program software and hardware installs. Provides patches and security compliance for installed applications and operating systems. Performs hardware installs and configuration; COTS SW installs; security patching; hardware maintenance; and user accounts.
