About the Role: Key Responsibilities
As a Homeroom Teacher at E.H. Franzen Intermediate School, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our students. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of 5th-grade and kindergarten students, ensuring a seamless transition between the two age groups.
- Creating a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of your students.
- Communicating effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to student development.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

- A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- A Professional Educator License (PEL) with K-9 Elementary Education endorsement.
- Proven experience in teaching elementary school students, preferably in both 5th grade and kindergarten.
