Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess a strong background in computer science and engineering, as well as a passion for teaching and mentoring. The ideal candidate will have:

• A terminal degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or a related field for Associate Teaching Professor rank
• A master's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or a related field for Assistant Teaching Professor rank
• Demonstrated ability as a teacher and adviser, with a strong track record of student engagement and success
• Evidence of professional growth, scholarship, and/or mastery of subject matter
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with curricular development and assessment
• Knowledge of programming languages, including Python and Java
• Familiarity with computer systems design and theory
• Experience with online or hybrid teaching environments
