Tutor/Clinician Role Overview

As a Tutor/Clinician at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality instruction to students in a one-to-one and small group setting. You'll work closely with our Learning Center leadership to implement specific lesson plans, facilitate the use of our proprietary curriculum, and interact positively with clients and staff to create a safe and positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group instruction to students, implementing specific lesson plans under the direction of Learning Center leadership.
• Facilitate the use of Lindamood-Bell Academy curriculum and materials to support student learning.
• Interact positively and professionally with clients and staff to create a safe and positive learning environment.
• Manage client records electronically using a computer, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
• Utilize positive-reinforcement strategies to maximize learning, promoting a cheerful and authentic learning environment.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's degree, Early Childhood Education certificate, or actively pursuing a degree is acceptable.
• Excellent reading, spelling, and comprehension skills.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to type notes about student performance while leading engaging sessions.
• A passion for helping others reach their potential and a commitment to delivering high-quality instruction.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior teaching or tutoring experience, although not required.
• Experience working with students of diverse ages and learning needs.
• Knowledge of educational principles and practices that support student learning.
