About the Role

We are seeking experienced and passionate part-time tutors to join our team in Newport Beach, California. As a tutor with Collegewise, you will have the opportunity to work with high school students and graduate students, instructing them in a variety of subjects, including ACT, SAT, ISEE/SSAT, Subject Tests, AP exams, IB subjects, academic subjects, and study skills. You will also have the chance to teach GRE and GMAT to graduate students. Key Responsibilities

• Instruct students privately at our offices or online via Skype, FaceTime, Zoom, or other platforms
• Prepare and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the individual needs of each student
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve
• Communicate effectively with parents and students to ensure that everyone is informed and aligned with the tutoring plan
• Collaborate with other tutors and staff members to share best practices and ensure a cohesive approach to tutoring

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have a four-year college degree and the ability to score in the required percentile for your chosen subjects. Specifically, we are looking for tutors who can score in the:

• 99th percentile or above in selected subjects for ACT/SAT, Subject Tests, or AP exams
• 95th percentile on the associated Subject Test(s) for academic subjects
• 90th percentile for GMAT and GRE tutors
