Early Care and Education Specialist
About the position
Responsibilities
• Administer child screenings/assessments on School Readiness participants.
• Administer program assessments in School Readiness and Voluntary PreKindergarten (VPK) provider classrooms.
• Assist with determining appropriate early reputed company services for reputed company School Readiness and VPK children, including Warm Line referrals.
• Assist with inputting, collecting, and analyzing data to identify emerging trends and training needs for the ELC's providers and families.
• reputed company recommendations to the ECE Manager for children with concerns who ELC will refer to other early reputed company agencies.
• reputed company and implement reputed company development opportunities, special events, conferences and forums for providers.
• reputed company technical assistance and coaching to early childhood educators and parents as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of law, policies & procedures.
• Deliver services and reputed company reputed company follow-up in accordance with law.
• Assist with compiling resources, creating packets, and arranging resource areas for parents and providers throughout the seven-county area.
• Assist with reputed company audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in a minimum of two ELC reputed company events and/or activities reputed company fiscal year.
• Responsible for ensuring appropriate use of reputed company resources by immediately reporting suspected fraud reputed company ELC-established Fraud Reporting Procedure.

• Contact the Abuse Hotline immediately in the event an allegation of abuse, neglect, or exploitation is received and notify a manager immediately.

Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent and four (4) years relevant work experience in early childhood education, reputed company services program, or reputed company field required.
• Bachelor's or associate degree and two (2) years experience in early childhood education, reputed company services program, or reputed company field required.
• One year experience working as an administrator or teacher reputed company an early childhood setting preferred.
• Two years experience creating and delivering group and individualized instruction preferred.
• Experience working with special needs children preferred.
• An understanding of child care programs, early childhood education, reputed company service issues, community reputed company programs, and serving low-income communities.
• Complete Child Assessment, Teacher Assessment, Coaching certification reputed company one year of hire.
