About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team. As a technical leader, you'll be responsible for designing and building highly scalable test automation solutions, including end-to-end functional test automation frameworks, productivity tools, quality dashboards, and performance testing. You'll work closely with product and engineering teams to drive quality and enable full CI/CD solutions by leveraging the solutions you've built. You'll also have the opportunity to define strategies and guidelines for the organization on how to apply test automation techniques for voice-UI products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build automated test systems and test suites for use in development and testing cycles.
• Identify and address inherently difficult issues in unblocking automation.
• Design and develop tools to help designers and analysts improve their efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with development teams and peers to identify and prioritize valuable opportunities for automation.
• Lead and actively participate in design reviews, aligning teams across the organization towards coherent architectural and testability approaches.

About the Team

The Alexa Voice QA team in Fire TV Experience is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of Alexa Video platforms and features for Alexa clients. Our Video Area team works with partners both internal and external to provide elite test infrastructure, tools, and support in delivering the best Alexa Video experience. We're a dynamic team that thrives in a fast-paced startup-like environment, and we're looking for individuals who share our passion for quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Essential Qualifications

• 4+ years of non-temporary professional programming development testing experience.
• 3+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language like Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
• Experience in entrance testing and exploitability-centered weakness assessment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of overall system engineering, scalability, reliability, and performance in a database environment.
• Experience with security in service-oriented models and web services.

Our compensation package reflects the cost of work across several US geographic markets. The base salary for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on various factors including market location and may vary depending on work-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We're a comprehensive compensation organization, and subject to the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other types of compensation might be given as part of a total pay package, in addition to a full range of clinical, financial, or potentially other benefits.
