**Job Summary**
As a Full Stack Software Engineer in the Information Stage group, you will work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient data management solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will be responsible for defining and driving technical vision, strategy, and methodology for our infrastructure, guiding the design and development of new data arrangements that accelerate the use of data across Apple, and participating in product design reviews to ensure the secure and efficient use of data in Apple products.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Define and drive technical vision, strategy, and methodology for our infrastructure
* Guide the design and development of new data arrangements that accelerate the use of data across Apple
* Participate in product design reviews to ensure the secure and efficient use of data in Apple products
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams of innovative engineers, product managers, and design directors to improve our productivity and performance continuously
* Lead and mentor junior engineers or fresh recruits
* Provide direction and establish processes to ensure design excellence, efficiency, and functional maintainability of our infrastructure
* Foster a healthy, comprehensive, collaborative, and innovation-driven culture
* Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in data management and cloud computing
**Key Capabilities**
* 8+ years of experience in software development
* 3+ years of experience leading design teams for data handling or similar areas
* Experience with business and open-source large-scale data handling, storage systems, and platforms, such as Apache Flink, Apache Kafka, and others
* Experience with programming languages like Python, Java, Scala, Rust
* Experience in managing and streamlining data stages and infrastructure
* Strong leadership skills and experience managing large multi-functional teams
* Experience in influencing and driving key product advancements and potential opportunities across different colleagues
* Passionate about achieving functional excellence through proper automation and design cycles
* Strong distributed systems and design foundation
* Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
**Education and Experience**
* B.S or M.S. Degree in Software Engineering/Designing, or equivalent work experience
* Additional Requirements
* Bonus if you have experience in the following areas:
+ Working with streaming data handling structures, such as Apache Flink, Kafka Streams, Flash Streaming
+ Working with data visualization tools like Apache Superset, Grafana
+ Working with intelligent computing platforms like Jupyter Notebook
+ Creating and advancing calculations that run efficiently on resource-constrained stages
**Compensation and Benefits**
At blithequark, base compensation is just one part of our comprehensive compensation package, which is determined within a range. This provides the valuable opportunity to advance as you grow and develop within a role. The base compensation range for this role is $35-$45 per year, and your base compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
