Job Summary

The Customer Service Representative role at blithequark is a critical position that interacts directly with patients to influence generic utilization, therapy changes, answer questions, solve problems, provide education, and maintain our company's reputation for high-quality service. As a key member of our team, you will work independently and collaboratively to achieve our goals, focusing on communicating the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients, with the ultimate goal of providing overall savings to patients and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with patients to influence generic utilization and therapy changes, providing education and support to ensure they understand their treatment options.
  • Work closely with the Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruptions to patient care.
  • Conduct numerous adherence outreach efforts to ensure patients are staying on their medications and remaining adherent and compliant to their therapies, identifying and addressing any barriers to adherence.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers, proactively gathering patient and order information, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Utilize knowledge of insurance, health care, and reimbursement-related requirements to process new referrals, provide customer education, and perform routine assessments and problem identification, escalating issues to a pharmacist as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1+ years of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone, with a strong focus on empathy and patient-centered care.
  • 6+ months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or another similar application, with proficiency in navigating multiple systems and software.
  • Must reside in the state of Nevada, with a secure workspace and reliable internet connection that meets our approved speed requirements.
  • Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required, with a strong foundation in communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a health care or pharmacy setting, with knowledge of medical terminology, insurance, and reimbursement processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, clients, and team members.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive pay range of $17.00 - $28.45 per hour, depending on experience, education, and other relevant factors.
