Our commitment to partnership and innovation has earned us a reputation as a trusted advisor in the industry. **The Role** As a Benefit Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you will play a vital role in helping our client's plan participants navigate the enrollment process and make updates to their health care and/or pension plans. You will have the autonomy to provide personalized service, taking the time necessary to ensure each interaction is exceptional. Your day will be filled with opportunities to assist with phone calls, chat, and message center interactions as you gain experience and confidence. **Key Responsibilities** • Build rapport and respond to plan participants in a compassionate manner, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs and communication styles of each individual • Customize your customer service approach to meet all types of communication styles and personalities while maintaining professionalism and diplomacy during challenging calls • Handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion, adhering to HIPAA and Data Privacy laws and company data security requirements • Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and compliance with company and client procedures and guidelines, providing accurate and relevant information • Maintain and document complete and accurate call and case notes in a professional manner • Regularly participate in team meetings and training to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager **Requirements and Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you will need: • 6 months to 1 year of call center experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple interactions simultaneously • Proficiency in handling confidential information with sensitivity and discretion • Familiarity with HIPAA and Data Privacy laws, as well as company data security requirements • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines • Availability to work a standard shift, Monday through Friday, between 7am and 7pm, with extended hours during busy season **Preferred Qualifications** • Bilingual candidates with proficiency in French or Spanish are encouraged to apply, as they may be eligible for a pay increase • Experience working in a remote or work-from-home environment • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technology tools • Certification in customer service or a related field **Work Environment and Culture** As a work-from-home Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you will enjoy a flexible and autonomous work environment, with the freedom to manage your time and prioritize your tasks.
