As a Client Customer Service Support Representative in our Contact Center team for Client AR & Customer Service in RCM, you will be the frontline representative for physician offices, hospital laboratories, patients, and internal customers. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that client needs are met with accuracy and efficiency, providing product education, and handling a diverse range of inquiries while maintaining a world-class customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to update and provide necessary information to resolve denied claims, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
  • Continuously evaluate current policies and SOPs, providing recommendations for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality, adhering to data protection standards and best practices.
  • Read and understand explanations of benefits or correspondence, utilizing this information to address customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Document all activities related to a claim, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Communicate effectively via telephone with physicians, insurance companies, and patients, providing clear and concise information and resolving issues promptly.
  • Utilize various tools to verify eligibility, claim status, and obtain better billing information, ensuring that customers receive accurate and helpful support.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent; further education in a relevant field is a plus.
  • A dedicated work-from-home space that is quiet, private, and conducive to productivity.
  • The ability to manage time and tasks independently, maintaining high levels of productivity in a remote work environment.
  • Previous experience in a medical or call center environment is advantageous, though not required; we value transferable skills and a strong customer service ethos.

Technical Requirements for Remote Work

  • A reliable internet connection with a download speed of at least 50 megabytes per second.
  • No satellite internet; a stable, wired connection is necessary.
  • The ability to connect your equipment directly to a router/modem using an Ethernet cord; Wi-Fi or mobile hotspots are not acceptable.

Compensation and Schedule

The pay range for this position is $15.25 - $21.00 per hour, reflecting our commitment to fair compensation based on skills, experience, and market data. The scheduled hours for this role are Monday through Thursday, 9 AM to 6 PM EST, and Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM EST, providing a consistent and predictable work schedule.
