Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement large-scale data architectures and pipelines to integrate, normalize, and process data from various sources.
  • Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, database systems, and tools for real-time and offline analytical processing.
  • Collaborate with data science teams to integrate data and incorporate algorithms and models into automated processes.
  • Work with Cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and experience with designing and optimizing queries to build data pipelines.
  • Utilize strong programming skills in Python or other significant languages to build robust data pipelines and dynamic systems.
  • Design and implement data warehouses and data models to support Information Science and other internal clients.
  • Investigate current data technology conditions to identify and assess critical capabilities and recommend solutions.
  • Explore and evaluate available tools and technologies to determine optimal solutions given the requirements directed by the model/use case.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in Information Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL.
  • 5+ years of experience with Python.
  • Experience with Cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark.
  • Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
