As a Manager, DTC Content Finance, you will play a critical role in overseeing financial planning and analysis for Disney Entertainment Television Network and Library Content distributed on Disney+. About the Role & Team
Disney DTC features a portfolio of top-tier streaming services including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, and Hotstar. Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional content to our viewers and driving business growth through strategic financial planning and analysis. As a Manager, DTC Content Finance, you will be part of a dynamic team that interfaces with a wide variety of partners across the Company, including Regional and Global teams in DTC Finance, Programming, Creative, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Execute quarterly forecasts, annual operating plans, and long-range plans for Disney Entertainment TV Network and Library Content on Disney+.
- Ad Hoc Analyses and Reporting: Run ad hoc analyses and reporting for DTC leadership and other Disney Entertainment stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Develop and mentor one Senior Analyst to help grow and develop the team.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with Disney Entertainment and Regional DTC FP&A teams to oversee and communicate content investment and P&L forecasts. Partner with Programming, Content Planning & Analysis, and other global teams to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Financial Planning and Budgeting: Oversee the financial planning of DETV content budgets through quarterly forecasts, annual budgeting, and long-range planning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making.
- Industry Trends and Best Practices: Stay up to date on SVOD industry trends amidst a rapidly changing landscape.
- Process Improvements: Drive and implement process improvements across key activities.
- Communication and Presentation: Develop and present financial plans, forecasts, and analyses to senior leaders and other stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience ideally in entertainment, management or leadership background is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues.
- Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of Excel, including building models from the ground up. SAP and Cognos experience is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to summarize ideas and issues to Executive management.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail without losing sight of broader objectives.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to work well in teams, both within the group and with other business units.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required (emphasis in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred), CPA or MBA is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership Experience: Management or leadership experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Industry Experience: Experience working in the entertainment or media industry.
- Certifications: CPA or MBA certification.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:
- Salary: A competitive salary range of $124,900 to $152,500 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Bonus and Incentives: A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
