About the position
Responsibilities
• Perform data entry and document scanning of purchase order requisitions into the University's electronic financial system.
• Send approved documents to external vendors and internal University departments.
• Assist with answering phone calls and general email inquiries.
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of on-line data entry experience.
• Detail oriented with excellent figure aptitude and organizational skills.
• Ability to transcribe numerical data into electronic format with high level of accuracy.
• Must have strong data entry and verifications skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to quickly learn new programs and applications.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Employment contingent upon a satisfactory background check.
Nice-to-haves
• Ellucian experience a plus.
