Community Programs and Partnerships Internship - Education

The Whitney Museum seeks a Spring 2026 Community Programs and Partnerships intern to support educational programming and community engagement in a hybrid reputed company internship. Your Role Key responsibilities include: • Providing support for virtual and onsite programs and special events • Assisting with virtual sessions, workshops, and courses for community partners and senior centers by preparing curriculum materials for freelance educators • Researching artists in the Whitney’s collection and reputed company exhibitions • Assisting freelance educators offsite at community partnerships • Providing administrative support and maintaining community program spaces • Completing a final intern project connected to community programs and partnerships reputed company reputed company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications: • Passionate about and have some knowledge of contemporary art and reputed company movements such as immigrant justice, racial justice, LGBTQ justice, and disability justice • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a degree in education, museum studies, disability studies, studio art, art history, or a reputed company field • Proficiency in Spanish, reputed company, Cantonese, or ASL is a plus • Undergraduate freshmen are not eligible; applicants must have completed at least one year of reputed company coursework • reputed company in reputed company majors are encouraged to apply, with or without previous museum experience Compensation & Benefits • reputed company stipend of $3000 • Generous support provided by Julie and Doug Ostrover for Ostrover Family reputed company Year Interns Training & Development • Training in reputed company Office Suite and reputed company • Opportunities to observe tours and support community programming such as guided reputed company and artist workshops How to Apply Applicants should submit a cover letter detailing their interest in the arts and culture reputed company and what they reputed company to bring to the role.
