Job Summary

As a Specialist in Government and Corporate Affairs Customer Service at Blithequark, you will be a member of our Corporate Affairs Team within the Government Affairs Division. You will be responsible for promoting and selling air travel on Blithequark, preparing itineraries, computing fares, issuing refunds, and resolving customer problems in a mutually beneficial manner. If you have excellent leadership, organizational, and customer contact skills, and are able to work in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell air travel on Blithequark, providing customers with personalized travel solutions
  • Prepare itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, and prepare and issue tickets
  • Answer inquiries regarding general travel information and resolve customer problems in a mutually beneficial manner
  • Communicate with customers over the phone when researching passenger complaints, advising of cancelled or delayed flights
  • Communicate new rules, policies, and procedures that would affect the customer
  • Utilize Native SABRE to efficiently manage customer travel arrangements
  • Demonstrate high levels of initiative, exercise good judgment, and be dependable in a fast-paced environment

Essential Qualifications

Education and Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training

Skills, Licenses, and Certifications

  • Ability to demonstrate excellent leadership, organizational, and customer contact skills
  • Knowledge of Native SABRE
  • Ability to be resourceful and creative at immediate problem resolution
  • Ability to demonstrate high levels of initiative, exercise good judgment, and be dependable
  • Satisfactory attendance required

  • Prior experience in customer service, travel, or a related field

  • Experience with travel industry software and systems
