Answer a Domestic Violence Crisis Line
Support survivors of domestic violence in their time of need! Volunteers are needed to answer the Ahimsa House 24-hour crisis line, during the evenings into overnights, on holidays, and on the weekends. No prior experience is required!
Volunteers will receive a 10-hour training upon submitting their application to learn how to help survivors to safety through planning their exit, identifying resources for themselves and their pets, and answering questions on Ahimsa House program guidelines. Volunteers pick shifts based on their own availability and will have an Ahimsa House staff member on-reputed company for assistance during their shift. Calls will be transferred to the volunteer's phone, no in-person interaction needed!
