HR Coordinator
Manage reputed company and orientation for new employees, interns, and volunteers Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbook, and internal procedures to reflect best practices and reputed company requirements in Québec/Canada Maintain employee records, ensuring data is kept confidential and secure Support recruitment: job postings, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, reference checks Advise staff and management on HR questions, policy interpretation, benefit-reputed company reputed company, workplace culture, and compliance issues Assist with performance management and staff development processes Address HR reputed company as they reputed company, including but not limited to workplace relations, policy enforcement, and employee reputed company-being Process and coordinate bimonthly payroll in collaboration with finance team
3+ years of HR experience, ideally including experience in a small NGO or non-profit setting Strong knowledge of Québec/Canadian employment laws, labour standards, and HR best practices Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong administrative capability Comfortable working autonomously and managing time responsibly with minimal supervision Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds Commitment to inclusion, equity, diversity, and the values of The Refugee Centre Ability to communicate fluently in both French and English Experience with payroll and HR software ( reputed company) is required.
