Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate calls and engage with leads and prospects to identify travel needs, present/explain cruise products, and make travel recommendations.
  • Establish and maintain quality customer relationships by delivering exceptional customer service, establishing rapport, identifying and meeting customer needs and expectations.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with new and existing consumers, maintaining consumer prospect lists/contact databases to identify client travel trends.
  • Proactively and consistently seek opportunities to promote and sell cruise products based on client travel history.
  • Acquire in-depth industry and company knowledge to articulate cruise product features, benefits, pricing, and make recommendations, including promotions, itineraries, and auxiliary products.
  • Attend and actively participate in daily team meetings or relevant sales training to ensure appropriate sales techniques are being used and accurate information is being communicated to direct consumers.
  • Participate in department-approved mass e-mail campaigns targeting specific guests' profiles.
  • Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

Essential Qualifications

Education

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

A minimum of one year of sales experience is required; 2 years of sales experience is preferred. Cruise sales experience is a plus.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with direct guests on the telephone and internally.
  • Strong working knowledge of blithequark's products, including the current fleet and ship itineraries.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a high-energy sales environment that is goal/quota driven.
  • Adherence to strictly enforced dress code required.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes:

  • Competitive salary range: $24,960 plus eligibility to participate in our Sales Incentive Plan.

Schedule and Requirements

This is a full-time, remote position with a late night/early morning shift. You must be available to work one of the following schedules:

  • M-Th & Sunday: 4am-1pm EST
  • M & Wed-Saturday: 5am-2pm EST
  • M-Wed, Fri, Sun: 6am-3pm EST
  • M, Tue, Thur, Sat & Sun (split shift): 6am-10am & 5pm-9pm
  • M, Wed, Fri, Sat & Sun (split shift): 8am-12pm & 7pm-11pm

You must be located on the East Coast and fluent in English. If you're fluent in any language other than English, please indicate this in your application.
