**Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced retail environment. Your key priorities will include:
* Providing customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring that every customer feels welcome and valued.
* Assisting in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store for customers during their shopping experience, including unloading merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor.
* Independently stocking shelves and recovering merchandise in the store, ensuring that products are displayed attractively and easily accessible to customers.
* Accurately handling customer funds and processing transactions using the POS system, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Remaining constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, responding promptly to any customer concerns or issues.
* Performing all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
**Position Requirements**
To be successful as a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll need:
* Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, as well as the ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned.
* Experience: Previous experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred, but not required.
* Physical Requirements: You'll need to be able to regularly lift up to 40lbs (and occasionally, up to 55lbs) from floor level to above shoulder height, as well as meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Availability: You'll need to be available to work a flexible, full-time schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
