Job Overview

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Remote Customer Service Associate to work from the comfort of their own home, providing top-notch support to our members. As a Remote Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will be responsible for responding to member inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a full-remote position, available to candidates located in the United States, Albania, and Alabama (USA).

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to member inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing timely and effective solutions to their concerns
  • Resolve issues and complaints in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring member satisfaction and loyalty
  • Provide accurate and detailed information about our services and programs, addressing member questions and concerns
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve overall customer experience
  • Meet and exceed performance metrics, including quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction targets
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a health plan or related industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with members and internal stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and think critically
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and managing time effectively
  • Proficiency in English; bilingual candidates (Spanish or Creole) are highly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to self-motivate and work independently
  • Knowledge of health plan operations, including benefits, claims, and member services
  • Certifications or training in customer service, such as CPR or CCR
  • Experience with CRM software or other customer service platforms

Technical Equipment Requirements

To perform this job, you will need:

  • A reliable computer or laptop with Windows 11, at least 8GB of RAM, and a CPU speed of 1.67 GHz or higher
  • A hardwired internet connection (no Wi-Fi) with a minimum speed of 50 Mbps download
  • A USB headset and a dedicated workspace free from distractions
  • A wired connection to the local router or modem is required for connectivity

Work Schedule and Training

This is a full-time position, with a 40-hour work week schedule. You will be required to work a shift between the hours of 7am-11pm EST, including weekends and holidays, without exception. You will also be required to participate in 10 initial days of training, which will be scheduled from 9AM to 6PM (approximately). The tentative training class dates are September 30th, October 14th, October 18th, and November 11th.
