Job Summary
As a Call Center Representative at blithequark, you will work in a remote setting, performing patient enrollment, data entry, and customer service tasks. You will be responsible for utilizing our pharmacy systems to obtain patient and medication data, handling patient inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary range of $25-$35 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient enrollment and data entry tasks, adhering to blithequark's guidelines and procedures.
- Utilize pharmacy systems to obtain patient and medication data, and handle patient medicine demands within HIPAA guidelines.
- Investigate and resolve missing prescription data, and decipher clinical abbreviations (SIG codes).
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and messages from patients, prescribers, and other stakeholders.
- Resolve third-party oddballs by inspecting, gathering data, making adjustments, and resubmitting for processing.
- Provide support to pharmacists, both those in the office and those in different locations.
- Identify and convey issues to senior-level staff as necessary.
- Obtain and maintain an active pharmacist license or certification within the initial 90 days, and keep it active throughout your tenure.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic computer skills, including:
- Startup and shutdown of PC.
- Using the mouse to point and click.
- Starting and closing programs.
- Switching between programs.
- Saving files and printing documents.
- Accessing data online.
- Basic web browser skills, including:
- Opening a browser.
- Typing URLs in the correct location.
- Using a search engine.
- Bookmarking a webpage.
- Navigating using back/forward/stop buttons.
- Completing forms online.
- Intermediate keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing reports).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 18 years old or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of pharmacy specialist experience in a retail or call center environment.
- At least 1.5 years as a pharmacy specialist with a certificate/registration by the state as conceded by the State Board for Pharmacy or broadly recognized certification agency.
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction.
- Advanced keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, designing documents).
- Familiarity with Spanish and English.
