As a remote employee, you will enjoy the flexibility to work from anywhere, while still being part of a dynamic and supportive team. **Responsibilities** As an Entry-Level Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: * **Data Entry and Management**: Inputting data from paper documents into digital spreadsheets, updating order statuses for customers, and double-checking your work to ensure accuracy. * **Data Verification and Quality Control**: Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities if possible, and checking the output to ensure data integrity. * **Research and Data Retrieval**: Researching and obtaining further information for incomplete documents, applying data program techniques and procedures to ensure accurate data entry. * **Report Generation and Storage**: Generating reports, storing completed work in designated locations, and performing backup operations to maintain data security. * **Document Scanning and Printing**: Scanning documents and printing files, when needed, to support data entry and customer service operations. * **Customer Service Support**: Providing exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely order updates. **Requirements** To succeed in this role, you will need: * **Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. * **Strong Computer Skills**: Excellent typing skills, with the ability to enter data quickly and accurately. * **Basic Knowledge of Touch Typing System and Database Management Tools**: Familiarity with touch typing and database management tools, such as Access or SQL. * **Analytical Thinking**: Ability to think critically and analytically, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. * **Strong Communication Skills**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues. **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, experience working in a data entry or customer service role is a plus.
