Healthcare Customer Service Representative – Work From Home
We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join our team on a work-from-home basis. As a key member of our customer experience team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our clients in the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Professionally handle a high volume of incoming calls, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries.
- Thoroughly gather customer information, assess and fulfill customer needs, and educate customers on products and services as applicable.
- Utilize and navigate multiple systems simultaneously to provide seamless customer experiences.
- Meet all attendance requirements and maintain a high level of dependability.
- Resolve customer issues via one-call resolution guidelines and/or escalated processes, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Meet or exceed company and client performance metrics, driving continuous improvement.
- Maintain a balance between company policy and client benefits in decision-making, ensuring fairness and customer-centricity.
- Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact our clients and their customers.
- Compile and document customer information as required, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Embrace changes within the current business environment, demonstrating adaptability and a growth mindset.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- A dedicated area to work from in your home, ensuring a distraction-free environment.
- Internet speed requirement of 25 Mb/s download and 10 Mb/s upload (wired Ethernet connection required; wireless access is not permitted).
- Demonstrated passion for excellence in customer service, particularly when working with senior citizens.
- Strong decision-making and analytical abilities, with the capacity to identify customer needs and articulate products and services effectively.
- Schedule flexibility to include weekends, evenings, possible holidays, and occasional overtime.
- Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Ability to be a team player, collaborating with colleagues to drive shared goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the healthcare sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse customer groups.
- Familiarity with customer service software and technology, including CRM systems.
Work at Home Set-Up Requirements
- Wired Ethernet connection with a minimum speed of 25 Mb/s download and 10 Mb/s upload.
- Two 21" monitors (you'll supply one, and blithequark will provide the other).
- Hard-wired Broadband Internet Service via DSL, Cable, or Fiber Optic (wireless connections, Satellite, Microwave, and Cellular Hotspot Internet Services are not permitted).
- Headset: You'll need to provide one of the following headsets:

- blithequark will provide: Keyboard, Mouse, and Webcam.
