About the Role: Customer Service Sales Representative

As a Customer Service Sales Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in building and developing client relationships within the Gunnison County communities we serve. Your primary focus will be on promoting our agency's superior customer service, supporting our clients' needs, and identifying opportunities to grow our business. You will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to growing our office's revenue and your own earning potential. With bonus incentives tied to our client base growth, your hard work and dedication will be rewarded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones and respond to voicemails in a timely and professional manner
  • Work renewal and policy alerts within our agency systems to ensure seamless client experiences
  • Assist current customers with payments, policy changes, and other inquiries to provide exceptional support
  • Set up customer appointments for licensed agents to perform policy reviews and identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
  • Treat each customer contact as a valuable opportunity to build relationships, provide solutions, and grow our business

Requirements for Success:

To excel in this role, you will need to possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful, and be coachable. A positive and enthusiastic attitude, combined with a sense of urgency and a self-starter mindset, will serve you well in this fast-paced environment. You should be proficient in multi-tasking, follow-through, and follow-up, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual Spanish skills are highly preferred, as we strive to serve our diverse client base
  • Prior experience in customer service, sales, or insurance is a plus, but not required
  • A strong desire to learn and grow with our agency, with a focus on professional development and career advancement

Licenses and Certifications:

We prefer candidates who possess or are willing to obtain a Property & Casualty Insurance License and a Life & Health Insurance License. If you are not already licensed, we will provide support and guidance to help you achieve these certifications.
