Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative - Overnight Shift, you will be part of our inbound call center team, working from home in Illinois to support our specialty patients. You will handle a high volume of calls, responding to patients' inquiries about prescription refills, order status, and insurance coverage. Your exceptional communication skills, empathy, and passion for helping others will ensure that patients receive the support they need to manage their health effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to patient inquiries via phone, providing timely and accurate information about prescription refills, order status, and insurance coverage.
  • Utilize strong computer skills to access and manage patient information, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of patient concerns.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating empathy and understanding in responding to patient needs and concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to resolve patient issues and ensure timely delivery of medications.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills, ensuring expertise in pharmacy operations and patient support.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.
  • 6 months of experience working in a call center environment, handling high volumes of customer inquiries.
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Windows, Microsoft, or other applications.
  • Must live within 75 miles of Mount Prospect, IL.
  • Verifiable high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 months of experience handling and resolving complex customer needs over the phone.
  • Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, and prescriptions.
