Key Responsibilities
As a Patient Care Advocate at Blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Handling inbound and outbound calls from members, providers, physicians, and internal and external clients related to pharmacy benefits
- Responding to questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, while maintaining productivity standards and performance guarantees
- Researching and resolving problems related to pharmacy benefits, including mail order and claims issues
- Assisting members in understanding and maximizing the use of their pharmacy distribution program
- Utilizing our computerized system to gather information and respond to questions
- Documenting issues and resolutions in a common database to ensure accurate and complete records
- Escalating issues as necessary to ensure prompt resolution and follow-up
- Maintaining accurate and complete documentation of all inquiries to continuously improve the customer service process and reduce potential legal concerns
- Identifying and escalating concerns received from patients and/or clients in a prudent manner to ensure corrective action can be pursued and expedited
- Adhering to quality and production standards while complying with all applicable company, state, and federal safety regulations
Essential Qualifications
To be successful as a Patient Care Advocate at Blithequark, you will need:
- A strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service and support
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service environment (preferred)
- 1 year of experience in a pharmacy benefits or healthcare-related field (preferred)
