This position is a key part of the Compliance Group within the People/HR Division at blithequark. As an Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining legal and regulatory compliance by researching and communicating requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the HR Compliance team and Operations with tasks including obtaining fingerprint/criminal investigation results and processing fingerprint clearance letters; maintaining relationships with TSA, Airport Authority Boards, U.S. Customs, and U.S. Postal Services; faxing/monitoring US Customs results; and database entry.
- Process daily FBI fingerprints into the Access database and troubleshoot any database issues that arise.
- Design and analyze HR Compliance data between various files, working closely with HRIS and EC systems to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Conduct advanced investigations, create custom reporting/dashboards, and standardize all data used for HR Compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with clients and the team on a regular basis to ensure seamless operations and address any concerns.
- Review completed Fingerprint Applications for accuracy and re-transmit fingerprints to the TSA Clearinghouse as necessary.
Essential Qualifications and Preferred Capabilities
To excel in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree and a strong foundation in the skills and competencies outlined below.
Essential Qualifications:
- Knowledge of advanced Excel skills such as formatting, creating complex formulas, and Vlookup.
- Proficiency in advanced Access skills to manage and analyze data effectively.
- Ability to interpret large sets of data to develop meaningful reports that inform business decisions.
- Excellent decision-making skills and strong organizational abilities to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven problem-solving skills to address complex issues and find effective solutions.
- Ability to ensure fair and consistent application of company policies and government requirements.
- Capacity to educate business units on government requirements, internal and external processes, and results.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
Preferred Capabilities:
- Knowledge of Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) applications and processes.
- Familiarity with the TSA Clearinghouse database and its functionalities.
