Job Overview

As a Project Coordinator at Workwarp and OIT, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of IT projects, from planning and implementation to delivery and evaluation. You will be responsible for providing program and project support, updating project plans, reconciling budgets, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring that project artifacts are gathered and stored. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide project management support to ensure the overall success of initiatives, including updating project implementation plans, scope, objectives, schedule, deliverables, budget, and success criteria.
  • Lead the coordination of meetings, including developing agendas, capturing meeting minutes and action items, and working with the project team to complete follow-up items.
  • Provide necessary reporting to ensure effective project communication occurs and is available, including determining the content of status reports and creating them.
  • Maintain relationships across OIT, OeHI, State agencies, customers, and vendors to develop an understanding of core business functions and align projects with overall business objectives.
  • Participate in project post-mortem assessments and suggest improvements in process or procedure.
  • Manage issues and proactively escalate critical issues for immediate resolution.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of one year of professional experience in coordinating and administering phases of an information technology project. You should also have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, a problem-solving mindset, and excellent communication skills. A degree in a related field or relevant certifications, such as PMP, Scrum, or ITIL, would be an asset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Google Suite, spreadsheets, and scheduling.
  • Relevant IT certifications, such as Scrum, ITIL, ADKAR, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Agile and Scrum methodology experience.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies, system implementation, and integration, and/or a technical discipline.
  • Strong quality and customer service orientation.
  • Effective working in a matrix organization.
