As a Manager, Analytics, you will play a critical role in driving our paid media examination capability, optimizing our global paid media spend, and informing our marketing strategy with data-driven insights.

About the Role

We're looking for a talented and driven individual to lead our analytics efforts in paid media, working closely with our marketing teams to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. As a Manager, Analytics, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex reports, analyses, and scorecards to track performance and drive decision-making. Your expertise in data analysis, business acumen, and communication will be essential in driving our paid media strategy forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver high-impact reports and analyses in the space of paid media, providing actionable insights to inform our marketing strategy
  • Design and build analytics, BI, and data science solutions to enhance our paid media capabilities and improve marketing efficiencies
  • Collaborate with paid media data science teams and marketing teams to implement media mix models and drive business outcomes
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses, querying databases, interpreting results, and communicating recommendations to drive action
  • Partner with stakeholders across marketing, finance, and product teams to address business challenges and track performance using a data-driven approach
  • Utilize tools like SQL, MicroStrategy, Tableau, and Excel to create and maintain scheduled and ad-hoc reports
  • Analyze data to identify business issues, conduct deep dives, and perform root cause analysis to drive meaningful insights
  • Conceptualize and execute analyses that generate insights on customer behavior and needs, informing our marketing strategy and improving our offerings

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a quantitative field such as data science, business, economics, information technology, statistics, or mathematics
  • Advanced SQL experience and proficiency in at least one industry-standard data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, QuickSight, PowerBI)
  • A proven track record of mastery in Excel, with the ability to develop complex models and analyses
  • Experience in business intelligence, analysis, or consulting in an e-commerce environment or related field

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and experiences will make you a more competitive candidate:

  • A passion for working in a team of highly engaged individuals, with a strong energy for numbers, data, and statistics
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills, with the ability to work with both business leadership and technical teams
  • Experience with subscription-based or media content organizations, and/or an interest in learning more about cutting-edge data science approaches
  • Programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or C#, and/or experience with statistical programming languages like R or SAS
  • Knowledge of Adobe Analytics and other marketing analytics tools
