Position Overview

As a Remote Licensed Therapist - Part Time Contractor, you'll play a critical role in our mission to transform behavioral health care. You'll work with participants through our structured, evidence-based programs, focusing on actionable skills and healthy, life-long habits. This is a 1099 contract position, offering the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S., provided you're licensed in Oregon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver remote care throughout an 8-week evidence-based program, ensuring participants receive the support they need.
  • Monitor participant progress, provide follow-up communications, and document session notes in accordance with our standards.
  • Participate as a member of the care team, assisting participants with accessing resources and obtaining necessary consent and authorization forms.
  • Identify and respond to high-risk participant encounters, following company protocols to ensure safety and well-being.
  • Engage in regularly scheduled meetings with supervisors, monthly team meetings, and Town Halls to stay aligned with best practices and company updates.
  • Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality as outlined in HIPAA Privacy & Security policies, ensuring compliance with annual training requirements.

Compensation and Schedule

We're offering a competitive compensation rate of $40-$60 per session hour, dependent on your state of residence. For Oregon-licensed therapists, this is a fantastic opportunity to earn a rewarding income while working a schedule that suits your lifestyle. You'll be required to maintain a consistent schedule of at least 10 hours per week, within the hours of 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time, which can be spread across the week or on weekends.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted, independent clinical license in Oregon: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or state equivalent.
  • Ability to maintain a consistent schedule for patients, committing to 10+ hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clinical experience in conducting psychotherapy using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other solution-focused approaches.
  • Interest in obtaining licensure in other states, demonstrating a commitment to expanding your professional horizons.

  • Adherence to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy, ensuring a productive and secure remote work environment.

Essential Skills and Competencies

To succeed in this role, you'll need:
