Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for a range of tasks that require attention to detail, analytical skills, and excellent communication. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identifying/addressing breaks recognized between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents
  • Processing Corporate Activity Activities, settling/reconciling transactions activity, and processing/reconciling returns activity
  • Performing research of complex/escalated issues, testing/validation of new technology enhancements, and provider modifications
  • Completing projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor profile
  • Engaging with Retail and Institutional Service Teams using email, phone, Slack, Overview, and Salesforce
  • Representing blithequark Clearing in daily interactions with fund companies, transfer agents, opposite parties, and other external business partners

Duties Analysis

Your duties will involve a range of tasks, including:

  • Reviewing subscription deals or transfer requests
  • Analyzing Client/Advisor amount exceptions
  • Fulfilling regulatory commitments (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
  • Reconciling Business, Dividend, and Transactions Breaks
  • Getting Back Together across BOS and Fund Companies
  • Reviewing and analyzing correct tax coding and corrections of income tax coding

Problem Addressing

As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be expected to:

  • Address internal/external device improvements or issues
  • Identify the root cause of ruptures between blithequark, the Fund, etc.
  • Providing method or technology service alternatives to Management
  • Remediating transfer issues with the Fund or Opposite Firm
  • Responding to business partner inquiries concerning Fund details requirements/eligibility
  • Providing follow-up on Alternative Investment moves to expedite the client demand or remediate not clean issues
  • Ensuring prompt and accurate finalization of client investing and dividend demands

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with data entry software and systems (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Knowledge of financial industry regulations and compliance (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Previous experience in data entry or a related field
  • Familiarity with Alternate Investments and financial industry operations
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
