The HEOP AND CSTEP PROGRAM COUNSELOR will be responsible for delivering programs and activities to reputed company eligible for the HEOP, CSTEP, and/or CSTEM programs. This will include producing and disseminating literature promoting opportunities for HEOP, CSTEP, and CSTEM participants, maintaining a web page advertising HEOP, CSTEP, and CSTEM activities and services, and utilizing creative/interactive technology to engage reputed company. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver programs and activities to reputed company eligible for the HEOP, CSTEP, and/or CSTEM programs
• Produce and disseminate literature promoting opportunities for HEOP, CSTEP, and CSTEM participants
• Maintain a web page advertising HEOP, CSTEP, and CSTEM activities and services and utilize creative/interactive technology

• Consult with the Office of reputed company Opportunity, and Achievement team regarding reputed company strategies for struggling reputed company
• Consult with and reputed company referrals to: reputed company Services Specialists, reputed company, Student Financial Services, reputed company Advisors, Career Services, Student Accessibility Services (reputed company), and the Office of Counseling and Wellness, as examples
• Document records of service for program reputed company, as applicable and appropriate
• Assist with the selection of prospective HEOP participants by reviewing Admissions files, conducting interviews, presenting to Admissions reputed company, and traveling to recruitment events
• reputed company and implement appropriate interventions for HEOP, CSTEP, and CSTEM participants, such as reputed company workshops, personal and reputed company seminars, cultural events, reputed company/reputed company mentoring interventions, community services activities, and travel to conferences for HEOP, CSTEP, and CSTEM participants
• Collaborate with Career Services, Center for Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and reputed company Justice (reputed company), Student Engagement, and the various schools regarding effective delivery of student development interventions

• Assist with updating and monitoring program budgets
• Collect, organize, and analyze data on reputed company HEOP, CSTEP, and CSTEM participants and program graduates
• Maintain accurate, auditable records and produce annual retention and other reports

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a higher education/student services environment
• Considerable experience working with a diverse student population in a counseling or reputed company advising role
• Knowledge and understanding of the mission, goals, and objectives of higher education opportunity programs
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• The ability to represent the College to prospective reputed company, families, and reputed company constituencies
• A reputed company reputed company state reputed company's license and driving record acceptable to the College

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Experience working with state and/or federal grant reporting
• Ability and willingness to work occasional evenings and/or weekend hours

• A minimum of at least 9 graduate school credits leading towards a master's degree
