Remote Medical Scribe / Medical Assistant – Acuity Wound Care Part-Time / PRN (Work From Home) $20–$25 per hour (DOE) About Us: Acuity Wound Care is a growing mobile wound care practice providing advanced treatment to patients across home health, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities. We’re looking for a Remote Medical Scribe / Medical Assistant to join our team on a part-time/PRN basis, with the potential to move into a full-time role as we continue to expand. Position Overview: This role supports our wound care providers remotely — assisting with charting, documentation, and patient coordination tasks. The ideal candidate is experienced in medical scribing, efficient, accurate, and professional. Responsibilities: • Chart patient encounters in real time for Acuity Wound Care providers • Review and complete provider documentation accurately and on time • Answer phones, schedule patient visits, and manage messages • Send and track referrals, labs, and imaging (X-rays, ultrasounds, etc.) • Follow up on results and communicate with facilities and home health agencies • Support providers with other administrative and clinical coordination needs Requirements: • Prior experience as a medical scribe or medical assistant (required) • Strong understanding of medical terminology and charting • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Fast and accurate typing with attention to detail • Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace • Experience with wound care documentation or EMRs a plus Schedule: • Part-time / PRN (flexible hours) • Potential for full-time position as the practice grows Compensation: $20–$25 per hour based on experience Why Join Acuity Wound Care: • 100% remote work • Supportive, fast-growing team • Meaningful role in helping patients receive advanced wound care Job Type: Part-time Pay: $22.44 - $27.03 per hour Expected hours: No more than 30 per week Benefits: • Flexible schedule Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
