Key Responsibilities:

• Foster student achievement and development through music education
• Carry out teaching assignments and work in cooperation with the instructional team and/or department chair
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop lessons and improve instruction and student performance
• Communicate regularly with parents, administrators, and educational supports
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in music education

Essential Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• A passing score on the FL Subject Area Exam
• Obtained or be eligible for a FL Teaching Certificate
• Alternatively, you may be eligible for the Military Veterans Certification Pathway if you have a minimum of 48 months of active duty military service with an honorable/medical discharge and a minimum of 60 college credits with a 2.5 grade point average
