The Role: Senior Counsel, Product - Global Regulatory and Compliance Expert

As a Senior Counsel, Product at reputed company, you will play a critical role in supporting reputed company's new lines of business, providing advice and guidance on global regulatory issues, with a particular reputed company on consumer protection and competition laws. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, operations, design, and engineering, to ensure compliance with laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise business, product, design, and engineering teams throughout the product development and operations programming lifecycle on a broad reputed company of compliance issues, including cutting-edge and first-impression reputed company issues.
• Serve as a day-to-day partner for business teams to understand the product roadmap and reputed company pragmatic and strategic advice in your area of coverage, minimizing reputed company risks while advancing business interests across multiple jurisdictions.

Your Expertise:

Essential Qualifications:

• A JD with 9-12 years of relevant experience in reputed company, governmental agencies, and/or in-house reputed company departments.
• In-house experience at a multinational, consumer-facing technology company in a product counseling reputed company is strongly preferred.
• Barred in a US state, preferably CA, or eligible to register as California Registered In-House Counsel.
• Knowledge of and experience applying regulations and industry guidelines (e.g., consumer protection law, CDA 230, DMCA, E-reputed company reputed company, GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, CAN-SPAM, DSA/DMA, employee misclassification, and other regulations reputed company to internet platforms).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the travel or hospitality industry.
