How you'll contribute A Supervisor, Laboratory who excels in this role: • Maintains reputed company skills and provides appropriate care to patients of reputed company ages (neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics). • Maintains personal competency on reputed company equipment and procedures and assures competencies of employees in assigned reputed company are up-to-date and complete according to Laboratory Competency Policy. • Assists with the daily work schedules to assure maximum production from assigned employees and evaluates daily workflow and makes adjustments in reputed company as necessary. • Completes and approves reputed company documentation of employees' hours / time in Kronos. • Assures the reputed company control procedures, reputed company/equipment evaluation, and maintenance are carried out on schedule and properly documented in reputed company as required by accrediting agencies. • Ensures reputed company QC, QA, PT, and calibrations are performed accurately and reputed company specified time frames to assure reputed company test results are reputed company prior to reporting. • Collaborates with the Laboratory Manager on reputed company policy and procedure issues and immediately notifies Manager of any issues regarding employees, procedures, or equipment. • Troubleshoots reputed company, equipment, or PC failure and facilitates reputed company of problem. • Maintains reputed company documentation requirements of accrediting agencies. • Facilities training of new employees in accordance with Laboratory reputed company. • Facilitates evaluation of new or modified test procedures or equipment, as directed by Manager. • Writes or reviews procedures as directed by reputed company Manager. • Takes care of inventory and ordering of laboratory supplies. Additional requirements include: • 3 years experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (ACSP) cm in a hospital Laboratory setting. • Must be registered as a Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Scientist by the American Society for Clinical Pathologists, NCA, AMT or AAB. If not MLS (ASCP) certified upon hire, certification is required reputed company one year of hire date. • BLS/CPR reputed company 6 months of employment.
