Internal Wholesaler (Home Based)

As an Inside SalesRepresentative, you will be responsible for establishing new partnerships and providing 1-on-1 consultations. The Inside Sales Representative will be required to travel to local and non-local events hosted by Inspira when needed to actively network, build new relationships and be able to host internal videos. Attending these events will demonstrate the knowledge of the Inside Sales Representative, but also help represent Inspira as a company.

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the retirement plan industry; able to communicate information clearly through consultations or introductory speaking engagements including, phone, Zoom, and in-person consultations with prospect clients to clearly articulate the value of partnering with Inspira Financial.
  • Establish professional relationships with clients and maintain client relationships via cold and warm contacts, including phone calls, emails, linked in, industry events.
  • Stay well informed of the retirement plan industry by keeping up with new and proposed legislation, regulatory changes, and their potential impact on prospects and clients while continuously developing expertise in the field
  • Lead/prospect management – identify leads and prospects and manage the contacts through the sales process via Salesforce or other CRM system(s).
  • Attainment of a sales target, contribution to team goals, and personal achievement of the sales target
  • Event participation, attend networking events and conferences to confidently network as needed to represent Inspira Financial
  • Representation of Inspira Financial through Public Speaking. Ability to give a 15–30-minute general presentation on Retirement solutions online and in-person with confidence, poise, and proficiency in the subject matter.
  • Complete special assignments or projects as assigned by manager
  • Be a liaison between clients and other departments
  • Performs other job-related duties as required
Qualifications

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • 0-2 years of experience preferred in sales.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field

Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience in retirement plan industry and knowledge of IRAs
  • Proven ability to up-sell and develop new business
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; positive attitude; ability to work as team member
  • Self-starter with strong planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrate proactive, problem-solving, decision-making and client contact skills
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, HubSpot or other CRM tools
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office

Other Requirements:

  • 10% monthly travel requirement
  • Occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
