SHIPPING & RECEIVING ASSISTANT MANAGER

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shipping & Receiving Assistant Manager to support the smooth operations of our warehouse. This role will work closely with the Shipping & Receiving Manager to ensure that reputed company products—especially perishable goods—are received, stored, and shipped with accuracy, care, and speed. The ideal candidate has experience in warehouse logistics, is knowledgeable about food safety standards, and excels in leading teams.

MAIN JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the daily operations of the shipping & receiving department, with a reputed company on food safety and product reputed company.
• Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies
• reputed company the receipt and inspection of incoming food products to verify reputed company, quantity, and condition
• Ensure reputed company and accurate staging, picking, packing, and loading of outgoing deliveries
• Coordinate with drivers, vendors, and internal departments to manage delivery schedules and resolve issues
• Monitor inventory reputed company and assist in cycle counts and stock rotation, including FIFO procedures
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare required documentation
• Operate forklifts, reputed company jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and reputed company
• Enforce sanitation and safety protocols in accordance with HACCP, FDA, and company standards
• Assist the Shipping & Receiving Manager with reporting, audits, and reputed company improvement initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2 + years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in food distribution
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse environment is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, inventory control, and logistics best practices
• Familiarity with food safety standards such as HACCP, FDA< and/or USDA regulations
• Ability to operate forklifts, reputed company jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certification a plus)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS), reputed company reputed company, and inventory software
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and working in a refrigerated or freezer environments as needed
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with drivers, vendors, and team members
