Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Gymnastics Instructor to lead our morning classes for children aged 1.5-5.5 years. As a Gymnastics Instructor, you will be responsible for creating a fun and engaging learning environment, while ensuring the safety and well-being of our participants. Key Responsibilities
- Lead morning classes for children aged 1.5-5.5 years, following our established lesson plans and curriculum.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of our participants.
- Provide positive and supportive guidance to children, while promoting a growth mindset and a love for physical activity.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of our participants, while maintaining a clean and organized learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other staff members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our participants.
- Participate in staff training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Assist with program setup, equipment maintenance, and other tasks as required.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Four (4) years of experience working with children aged 1.5-5.5 years in an instructional group setting.
- One (1) year or more of supervisory experience within a gymnastics, tumbling, or dance program.
- USAG Recreational Coach Membership and CPR/AED/First Aid certification from a nationally recognized institution.
- Demonstrated knowledge of child developmental milestones and a commitment to child-centered teaching practices.
Preferred Qualifications
