Key Responsibilities

As a Staff Product Manager at Walmart, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of cross-functional partners to design, develop, and launch new products and features that drive business growth and customer satisfaction
  • Defining vision and strategies for your product, using area expertise, internal and external best practices, and opening key new capabilities to deliver value to our customers and stakeholders
  • Managing cross-functional leadership and partner alignment across partner teams, including Technology, Business, Design, and Product partners
  • Developing and executing on an product roadmap by analyzing customer and product data for meaningful insights, determining rollout strategy, and managing risks and new opportunities
  • Integrating insights, proactively sharing recommendations and proposals on new product opportunities to win, and driving change through data-driven decision making
  • Building collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to OKRs, communicating and aligning product roadmaps, and gaining buy-in from senior management

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Computer Science, or Engineering
  • 8 or more years of experience in product management, with a focus on e-commerce and retail innovation
  • Experience managing product lifecycle, from concept to launch, and driving business growth through data-driven decision making
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dive into data and bring insights to drive change
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence others, drive teams, manage stakeholders, and convey complex ideas clearly and concisely

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Retail product experience, with a deep understanding of the retail industry and its trends
  • Experience with SQL and data analysis tools, with the ability to drive insights and recommendations through data-driven decision making
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and technologies, with a focus on innovation and customer experience
