We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team in a 100% remote position. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing cloud-based data pipelines that support our business needs. As a Full Stack Data Engineer, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:- Designing and developing cloud-based data pipelines that are scalable, secure, and efficient
- Creating ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data set frameworks, and tools for continuous and batch data processing
- Developing data pipelines that are adaptable, repeatable, and secure
- Investigating software and processes for data consistency and integrity
- Coordinating data from various sources to ensure that they meet data quality and accessibility standards
- Resolving issues and barriers as they arise
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to exchange semi-complex data related to assigned tasks
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information technology, or mathematics
- At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong understanding of data design and development principles
- High-level knowledge of SQL and data modeling
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:- Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as a master's degree in computer science or information technology
- Experience with REST API development and cloud-based data integration
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Lake
- Experience with DevOps pipelines and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools
- Experience with cloud-based data security and governance
