Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Medical Transcriptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately transcribing medical reports and documents from audio recordings made by healthcare professionals. This role is crucial in ensuring that patient records are clear, concise, and compliant with medical standards. Duties • Transcribe dictated recordings from physicians and other healthcare providers into written reports. • Review and edit transcriptions for accuracy, grammar, and clarity. • Ensure all medical documents adhere to confidentiality and compliance regulations. • Maintain an organized system for managing patient records and files. • Collaborate with medical staff to clarify any unclear dictations or terminology. • Stay updated on medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to enhance transcription accuracy. Requirements • Proven experience in transcription, preferably within a medical setting. • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential. • Previous experience in a medical office is highly desirable. • Excellent typing skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively. • Familiarity with transcription software and equipment is a plus.
